Product Description
Bandonet® is an aluminium parapet extension and facade band system.
It is used to finish the weatherproofing at the edges of flat roofs and acts as a water drip to protect the facade covering.
Bandonet® is installed whenever the size of traditional edge bands is insufficient, especially when weatherproofing is renewed with external thermal insulation. It is used either to extend existing parapet height, or as a metal parapet if there is no concrete parapet. The system also protects the facade covering from drips and dirt thanks to its overhang that deflects water.
Bandonet® covers External Thermal Insulation (ETI) on facades, even when there is a significant overhang.
Technical Specifications
Bandonet® is an aluminium parapet extension of at least 150 mm.
The system is compatible with:
- a ETI on the roof top from 0 to 240 mm
- a ETI on the facade from 0 to 240 mm
In the absence of an ETI on the facade, the minimal parapet width is 130 mm.
In the presence of an ETI on the facade, the minimal parapet width is 230 mm.
Bandonet is available in all custom heights of 250 mm to 500 mm (including the minimum overhang on facade of 55 mm).
The Bandonet hinge support makes it possible to adjust the band's verticality and its angle before final locking.
The system is designed with a 60 mm downstand to protect roof covering skirtings.
